Upgrade to fences 4; Fences 3 software still present in 'apps' or 'programs and features'

I don't know if this is intentional but when I try to uninstall the 'fences 3' the fences 4 uninstallation window pops up, so I did not proceed. Is this a glitch, or with future updates am I just going to have more and more instances of fences?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. That don't look right to me. Should have only one listed at your application list. Something like screenshot below :
What you can do, try do the purge and reinstall as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Check if only Fences 4 appear on that list and report back here.
