Start11 enhanced taskbar: Change click behavior for thumbnail preview

I like the enhanced taskbar but I don't like the new click behavior for thumbnail preview feature, it is breaking my muscle memory and I can't find a settings to disable

While having multiple windows minimized, it opens directly when clicking an icon on taskbar instead showing thumbnail preview feature. And while having multiple windows open, it will minimize when you click until all windows are minimized

Can you add an option to disable this new behavior? i'm used to default and i don't want to change, but i want enhanced taskbar enabled

What were you expecting it to do when you click?

Show thumbnail previews when you click on icon, you know. Everyone knows this really

You are actually clicking instead of using the Windows native build din preview feature when you mouse over a minimized program on the taskbar?

Yes, isn't what the point for some users? are you considered not a build in feature really?

I'm used to it so i do this way for years, it's hard to get rid of my muscle memory. Also this can prevent unwanted window from opening or minimizing when you accidently clicking. Start11 should not replace it with it's weird behavior with no option whatsoever!

But i still want to use enhanced taskbar in order to bring back the resize feature

To be clear, it minimize/unminimize when you click on the icon even you have more than one window. By system default, if you have more than one window and you click on it, it will always show previews. Isn't it a bug with enhanced and not intended? Wouldn't make sense if it was intended.

I hover the mouse on taskbar most of the time. sometimes I click on it because of no proper indicator on Win11, but I agree this 'behavior' will be a bit confusing

I take it you mean when having several windows grouped together?
Side by side I just mouse over to get a preview, having to click would be rather annoying for that.
I did uninstall Start11 again since it doesn't allow me to have the start button centered, which actually is a good thing when using a big monitor.
