Windows Service not starting on system boot /reboot

I have two products installed and running on a Windows 11 PC:

Multiplicity 30-Day Trial version (V3.57 Build 00103), and,

Start11 (Version 1.15)

After a boot / reboot of the system, the Windows Services for both Multiplicity and Start11 don't start automatically and require each to be manually restarted from within the Windows Services app.

Both services properties are set with a 'Startup type' of Automatic. However, after a reboot of the system, the Windows Services for both Multiplicity and Start11 revert to a 'Startup type' of Manual.

Any advice / help to resolve this issue would be appreciated and if you require further information please let me know.

Many thanks

If the service is reverting to manual then something on your computer is changing it.  Neither Start11 or Multiplicity can change this on their own.

Do you have any tools which might optimize bootup for example which might be messing with services to 'speed up' your computer?

Hi Neil - thanks for the reply.

I'm reasonably sure I don't have any optimising boot up utilities that may be causing the problem but not 100% sure. I

It's happening on both my Windows 11 systems. Here is a list of my Startup Apps:

Is there anything in this list that you think may be the cause of the issue?

Many thanks,

Frank

I haven't had a reply from Neil as to which of my listed Startup items may be the cause of the service failing to start on both my systems.

I've now written and am using a simple batch file which I invoke after system startup to start the relevant Windows Services for Multiplicity and Start11.

A very annoying extra step I have to do but it at least solves the problem of having to always go into Services, find then start the relevant windows services for Multiplicity and Start11.
