I have multiple monitors (3). (1) Leftmost, 2(Center), (3) Rightmost
Recently fences all stuck on (1) Leftmost.
Went to Layout snapshots and none of the Restore Snapshot work.
What to try next?

Oh boy! I knew I shouldn't have run the batch file but did (as admin). Now icons taken from a fence won't stay put in the on screen position. Yes I unchecked the box "Allow themes to change desktop icons". About to uninstall fences again.
I have a clone of my drive, what do I need to restore of fences to get back to where I was?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, Purge should not delete you layout screenshot. But to be safe, you can use this guide to backup your saved layout. : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots

Thanks. I seem to have the fences back now. However they are piled on top of each other on the leftmost monitor. I've arranged some on the center and right monitor and taken a screen save and they seem to be holding position so far when I restore them. One additional question, I use DesktopOK to preserve my "free" icons that are not fenced in. Could this be causing an issue with Fences?
It might be. To test simply uninstall DesktopOK and see if it help with the issue. Also, once uninstall. Create a new layout snapshot and save it. Use that new one and see if it reposition your fences correctly.

Okay a question. Does Fences also restore icons that are not in a Fence because that seems to be the case.
Yes, I believe, Fences do restore icons that is not inside the Fences provided all icons control on desktop is released. Sorting is to none and Auto arrange is disable/not selected.

Have had fence problems sense upgrade to windows 11 pro. Sometimes they do not load, other times nothing can be dropped in them.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled seems fine for a few days and then back to the same issues. About ready to just give up.
