Drag Drop of desktop icons blocked by fences on Windows 10

Trial version: fences_public_1.0

To test your "fences" product I installed several times the above named trial version on Windows 10.

Every time the config programm of fences is started after reboot, the icons on the desktop cannot by dragged from that time on. Even if the config program is closed.

Generally the program works; I can create by rightclick and then mark some icons --> a new fence can by create (OK)

But in the end dragging other icons to the fence is blocked. 

!! Also draggind of icons is blocked on the desktop too.

After uninistalling the fences, windows icons can be dragged correctly.

I did several install- deinstall sessions with shutdown - restart - no chance.

I also used your purge_fences tool - no chance.

Installation was done with admin options.

 

Trial version data: fences_public_1.0  // fileversion 0.95.0.0 // sice : 8,63MB

Windows home version: 10.0.19042

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I am not sure you downloaded the correct latest trial version. Please uninstall the installed version from your system. And use this link to download the latest trial version : https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download-trial. Install that, reboot and retest it.
