Saved Group is not loading all applications

I'm using Groupy 1.5 and W11.  Have a group that contains Microsoft Outlook and Edge.
After linking them in a group, I save the group.  After closing the apps and then running the saved group, only Outlook is opening.

Occasionally, when I open Edge after opening the group Edge will then join the saved group without me adding it.

I've deleted the group and recreated it, but still the same issue after saving it again to a different group name.

Any suggestions on what is causing this behavior?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From my experience when opening a saved groupy group, browsers need to be totally close. Which means that no background process of that browser still running. Only than it will open in a Group properly. As for Edge joining other group need to see if you have set Edge to group automatically. Something like the screenshot below.

I added msedge.exe to the settings option to auto group.  However, that didn't fix the issue.  Edge still doesn't open initially with the group although the group was saved.

Didn't have a problem with this until a couple of weeks ago.  Before that the group opened with both outlook and edge.

I just check on my system and Edge open in Group. Not really sure why it not open in group on your system. Would like to suggest try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Unintall and reinstall is very different than purge and reinstall. Please try the purge.

I've finally returned to this issue.  Followed the directions for clean boot, but no change with the new user account.  Edge will not load into a group after it has been added to a saved group.  I did find in the new account that other programs will open when a saved group is opened. 

Still same issue in my existing account.  Groupy will open all programs in a saved group except for edge.

I can reproduce this issue now, something changed, but not sure what, most probably Edge side. I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

If you have all Edge processes shut down, I have little doubt it will open initially in a group.  After that, it will not group up from a save as it is already running - Groupy does not know what Edge Process you want as they all look the same to it.

It is something we want to look at for future versions and resolve if possible.
