Start Menu keeps disappearing
The Start Menu for Windows 11 keeps disappearing after awhile and the only way to get it back is to re-install it over the current installed software. Does anyone have any ideas on this issue.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can you elaborate on "Start Menu for Windows 11 keep disappearing". Also include few more details on your system.
Thanks

Latest Microsoft version of Windows 11. The latest version of Start11. I can't be anymore clearer. It keeps disappearing. The Start11 disappears and the Windows 11 start icon shows up in the bottom left hand side corner. The only way I can get the Start11 icon to show up in the bottom LH side corner is to re-install the software.
Does it disappear during use or is it disappearing after you sign out / reboot?
From the description it sounds like something may be setting the Stardock Start11 service to manual rather than automatic startup.
Hello all,
I have the same problem...
When I install Start11, Windows Explorer crashes every 20 seconds, everything disappears and reappears, but it's unusable.
I tried the versions: 1.11 and 1.16
I have Windows 10
If anyone has a solution ?
Thank you
Michael
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is not the same issue as the OP. It is best to create your own thread so we can help you from there and not creating confusion with the OP issue.

It keeps disappearing after a reboot or after a shutdown and then re-start or even after a Windows 11 update. I have only noticed that it has disappeared once while my computer was on/running. And what's wrong with others having the same problem looking for a solution to the same problem. I am very amazed with 3rd party software companies. You make software and then it doesn't work.
The issue is the other report is an entirely different issue involving an explorer crash. It will be unrelated.
Your issue sounds like the service is not running or installed. I suspect your antivirus product (or anti malware) has silently blocked the installation of it hence Start11 is unable to startup correctly or is removing it on reboot.
After a reboot if you run services.msc from the Windows Run dialog (Winkey + R) and scroll down to find Stardock Start11 does it say it is running and is Startup type set to Automatic?
Yes it is running and set at automatic.
