I just installed fences, and when I right-click to drag a new fence or folder, the option is there. But it doesn't create a new fence or folder when I select the options. It just goes back to the desktop as if nothing happened. Please advise on how to fix this.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Make sure in Task Manager that both(2) Fences options are enabled .

Incase you had a bad install
Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account page, Reboot
Test and report back please .
