Start11 screen issue after a few hours

Hi all,

i have a strange issue since the beginning with Start11. A screen shot is better than a long description.

It happens after a few hours of a running session. The only way to recover the situation is to restart the PC.

I am running Windows 11 21h2 with Start11 1.11.

Any idea how to solve this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know:-

  1. What is your monitor resolutions and scaling (100%, 250%)?
  2. Does the issue goes away if you just restart Explorer.exe?

Hi Basj,

I am using 2 identical screens with the same configuration.

Scaling: 125%

Resolution: 2560*1440

Refresh rate: 120hz

Sometime i can kill and restart the explorer process and it solve the issue and sometime not.

I am looking at your screenshot. Trying to recreate that look on my system. I can't do the Black text icons part. How do you achieve that? Other 3rd party mod?

are you talking about that part of my screenshot?

I don't use any aditionnal mod. Just Windows 11 with Start11 and Fences.

Yes that text icon color is black. This is what I get on my system. Notice I have white text, it stay white in Dark or light mode. So I was wondering why you have black text.
