Can't change install location

Just upgraded my license for v4 and wanted to install Fences 4 ... but I can't change the install path. I don't want/need the program on C.
How can this be changed?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I know, Fences need to be in the OS drive for it to work properly due to Windows System requirement.

Thanks

It might be the Dev hold it back and only fully implement it in Fences v4. I am not in Dev team, so I am not sure myself when it actually get implemented. I am merely quoting that respond from Support which was posted on July 2021.

So besides that ... is it now somehow possible to install to another drive?
If not, do I really have to move the install manually and create a junction for it?
What happens with a v3 install if I install v4?

It all looks a bit half-baked to me ...

So ... the "support" decided to quit supporting ... ?

Do I have to regret putting money into Stardock or how should I interpret this disrespectful behaviour?

From what I understand, it is best to uninstall Fences V3 before installing V4, all the layout snapshot will still be saved.

End of DraRo's quote

If you have Fences 3 installed on another drive, yes, uninstall 1st.  Otherwise installing over is fine.
