Using Multiplicity v3.57 with Windows XP

Hi there. I found documentation on your site that shows that Multiplicity 3 works with Windows XP (32-bit) but I'm not able to get it to install on my XP machine. It complains that multisrv.exe is not a valid Win32 application. It's an older machine for sure but one I'd like to use Multiplicity with. Is there a 32-bit version of the software that can be installed and/or can anyone point me in the right direction with getting it set up?

Thanks for your help! ...Mark

End of quote

It might have worked for someone I suppose but it is not supported I am afraid:

System Requirements

  • Windows 10, 8 and 7 32-bit and 64-bit

Thanks for the information - the System Requirements documentation on your site that I found may need updating. Here's the link: https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/v3/manual/

Too bad it doesn't work - it would really be helpful on some of this old tech lying around that I still need from time to time.

And I wrote that manual 🤦‍♂️

In my defense, it probably did at the time.

Not sure how you would go about it but try to ensure the XP is as up-to-date as possible.

lol - that's funny. Yeah, I'll give it another go but in the meantime I managed to dig up another keyboard and mouse and plugged it into my monitor with a video converter so I've been able to do what I needed to. It would have been sweet to just switch over to it though.

Thanks again for responding and all the best! ...Mark
