Showing different icons to standard start menu

I am trialling Start11 and I've noticed that several apps pinned to my start menu are showing different icons to those shown on the unmodified menu.

I can't see any options related to modifying icons so is this a bug or a feature?

In the screenshots below, you can see that the Spotify icon has changed from green to white, the word / excel icons have swapped for certificate icons and the Nextgen Reader icon has been swapped for a smaller version. The first screenshot is the Start11 version, and the other two are the unmodified start menu. The icons in question are all highlighted.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know how you pinned those applications with wrong icons to Start11 panel?

I pinned them all before installing Start11.

I would have right clicked in the all apps list and then selected pin to start.

Can you try, remove and re-pin them, this time use "Pin to Start11?

I unpinned and repinned the apps and the icons appear exactly the same.

In fact, when I open the Start11 start menu and type to search, bigger versions of the icons shown in the Start11 pinned list show, i.e. the white spotify, the certificate icons for all office apps and a small Nextgen Reader icon (although a slightly bigger version than on the pinned list, it's still smaller than the other icons on the search.

The same icons also show in the all apps list.

If I turn off the Start11 menu from the options, it does revert immediately to the standard menu, with the standard icons.

If you open the file location:

Is the icon there correct or wrong?

Hi

Not sure what's changed, but Word and Excel are now showing the correct icons. Sportify and NextGen Reader are still showing the incorrect icons but as these were both installed from the Windows store, they don't have an "Open file location" option in the More menu; It only contains "Pin to taskbar" and "Run as administrator" options.
