win 10/start10-->win11/uninstall start10/install star11-->restore win 10

start10 won't reinstall

Once Windows 11 was installed I had to uninstall start 10 before buying and installing start 11. I then restored to Windows 10. I downloaded start 10 again but it will not install. The messages that I have to restart before it will install but I've restarted several times and it still doesn't install.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I did the purge and now see start10 in the start menu, but can't activate. I get this message when I click on it.

Have you tried put in your activation keys? If yes, and it does not work. Please try to deactivate old activation and try reactivate it again using this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct
