Seamless: Placement of multiple displays with multiple computers

Why can't we position screens on the grid, but only computers?

As it is, I have a completely crazy way of mousing from screen to screen, because of how my displays are arranged physically.

If anyone's curious of how exactly they are:

Two rows.

Bottom row, center: Laptop 1

Top row: Second display of laptop 2 | Second display of laptop 1 | Laptop 2

It's what works better for me physically and visually.

But for moving the mouse around it's a total hackery. I can spare you the details.

I know I'll end up getting used to this if I have no alternative.

But anyone have any clue what else to do?

Thanks

Monitor vs PC placement on the grid is being considered for a future version of Multiplicity, yes.

In the meantime I noticed plenty other posts about the same, going back all the way to 2008 at least.

How can this be this difficult to solve, I humbly ask?

Sorry that was of no use to me but thanks.

I already had two laptops side by side with their respective external displays above each of the laptops. It worked OK.

But a basic arrangement was never my problem...
