Some questions about Start11 1.1 operation Modern vs Windows 11 lookalike

Can I please confirm.  The new ability to add folders to the Start11 menu in v1.11 works in the Windows 11 style and not in modern style?  But recent apps accessed show in modern style and not in Windows 11 style?

Thank you for any advice.

Right clicking on an app should show the recent apps accessed in the Win11 style.

Folders is specific to Win10/11 styles for now.

Thank you Neil

"Right clicking on an app should show the recent apps accessed in the Win11 style." - I'm not sure what this means; right clicking on an app in the Start11 start menu brings up the menu with items "Unpin; Icon; More etc".

Also on my laptop the option to add a fence to the start menu results in a small bar adjacent to the menu item and not a list of existing fences to choose from as I expected.

If the shortcut has jumplist items they appear under the menu.  If they do not then there is nothing to show.

On the second issue, if you have nothing listed then you have no fences to add.  Are you perhaps only using folder fences rather than the traditional fences?  You can only add traditional ones.

I'm referring to recent apps run.  In the Modern Style if an app or apps are started a few times they appear in the start menu.  In the Windows 11 style, as far as I can tell this does not occur.  Am I correct in that observation?  I am not talking about recent documents or parameters opened by apps eg Word or similar, that would appear in the jump list associated with that app/lication//program.

Ahh sorry I misunderstood you.

Yes you cannot show recent apps in the Win10/11 styles currently but it is on our list as the company CEO wants it too.
