Subscription or permanent licence?

I have an old permanent licence for Object Desktop that works for Fences 3.

Nothing in the details about Fences 4 or Object Desktop share whether it is for a year or a permanent licence number.

If its for a permanent licence I'll update to Fences 4 but until this is made plain I'm loath to part with money to upgrade.

Does anyone know the answer?

Mike

Object Desktop is a yearly subscription service offered at a

discount yearly to renew it .

As long as your subscription in current you will receive all updates

and or upgrades to newer versions .

OK, clearly my licence is an old one when it was offered as a permanent one.

Not yearly, never been asked to renew/pay for in-version updates.

You mentioned Object desktop, how about Fences, as a single purchase?

Fences ( or any app ) as a stand alone app you receive all updates until that app is

no longer supported . Any upgrades to newer versions though will have to

be bought and offered most times at a discounted price .

So Fences 3 you receive ALL updates , Fences 4 a new version you will have to buy .

Just remember though if you want to stay with the older version to save a download

for that version for future re installs .

If you purchased only Fences, It is a single, standalone purchase.

It just changed recently to have yearly subscription for Fences. But, if you wish, you can purchase the permanent license. Refer screenshot below.
