Reinitializes often, what version should I be running?

I am running a lot of Fences and a few Portals on two monitors of a three monitor setup.  Win 10 Pro 20H2 (OS build 19042, 1415) and Fences 3.1.3.3.  Fences tells me there are no updates but I see there is a Version 4 out.

Fences often re-initializes (sometimes minutes apart) with no particular pattern I can see.  I monitor RAM, CPU and Disk in real time and none are in distress.  Keystrokes and clicks not yet executed are lost so it would appear to be a buffer overflow of some type but nothing I can see as to whether it is within Fences or elsewhere and triggering Fences.

Should I be running version 4?  It would seem I should be, but why does 3.1.3.3 say there are no updates?

Any thoughts as to what is triggering these constant annoying re-initializations?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Fences 4 is an upgrade not an updates. So, I believe, that is why Fences 3 not notify Fences 4 as an update.

When you said, Fences "re-initialize itself" you mean full Explorer restart or something else? Also, you can do a 30 free trial Fences 4 and see if your issue appear in that version.

Thanks
