Windows 10 Fences 4 Hotkeys to access Fences not working

Hallo,

 

I have Windows 10 and Fences 4 and the Hotkeys for bringing the Fences on top is not working.

I notice that something gets triggered when pressing the hotkeys, because I have Rainmeter installed and the tansparency changes slightly when pressing the hotkeys.

I tryed closing Rainmeter and it didnt fix the problem. I have DisplayFusion installed as well, but closing this software didnt fix it either.

 

Should this feature work on Windows 10, or is this a special feature of windows 11?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. The feature work on my Windows 10 without issue. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

i did try the purge and uninstalled Displayfusion and Rainmeter. Sadly it still does not work.

I will make a fresh windows 11 install in a couple of months, so it is not a deal breaker for me, but maybe it helps when i show you what happens when i press the hotkey.

I uploaed a little video showing it. When pressing the hotkey the shadow of the window changes, and when i start draging the window, when the hotkey is active, the drawing gets messed up. This is a wetransfer link (it will only be available for 7 days)
