Saving file on desktop with multimonitor-setup

Hi there,

since i´m using fences, there is an anoying multimonitor problem. If i save a file to desktop, the file is places randomly between two monitors, not always on my main monitor.

Setup: Win 11 with triple 4k monitor setup (3-2-1). 2 is my main monitor. Saved files are placed correctly on the top left corner but randomly on monitor 2 or 3.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can resolve this issue if you use Fences rules. Set a rules where all new icons/program on desktop be send to specific Fence.Try these simple steps

  1. Create a new Fences, name it New Temp or something you prefer.
  2. Open up your Fences Rules.
  3. Set "All new icons go to "New Temp"

Thanks for the quick and precise reply. I don´t want new files go to a fence. I just want them to appear on my main monitor, as its working without fences.
