need a little help

im trying to get my window backgrounds transparent. i tryed windowsFX, but it doesnt quite work. then i tryed windows blinds and the same thing. what can i do?

A skin can be edited in SkinStudio to give you whatever color you want.

There are a few Windowblinds that have incorporated the 'Transparency' option. Usually an extra button or 'Right Clicking' or 'Double Clicking' the Title Bar on the window enables it.

You can also import any Windowblind skin into SkinStudio to make the changes

There's also a few programs out there that can do it...I use to use this onehttp://www.chime.tv/products/glass2k.shtml seemed to work ok

imnot sure you guys understand. im tryin to get the white part of any window, (the background of said window) to be transparent. so as to look like the letters of pictures are just there.

(ie. when i open internet explorer and go to this web site, all that is white on this page will, ill be able to see my background. im tryin to get something to this effect.)

Oh ok...I don't know that you can only make the 'Application Backgroung' transparent

well, is it possible to apply an alpha channel as the background? or maybe find a way to just delete anything thats the color white?

you used to be able to make explorer windows semi transparent .Dosnt WB still do that?

WinFX will do it and Windowblinds too, but I think it's Win2k and XP only. Not sure though.
