connect to new computer?

cannot see the new computer on configuration

I have a new computer, setup as secondary.  Spent over 1 hour reading manual and following setup procedures.  Configuration says "Multiplicity has been unable to connect to the secondary machine."  I'm at a loss.  Any help appreciated.

All is goofed up.  I read everything on the page you sent but it doesn't seem to apply.  I installed the app on my new computer - set it  to be Secondary.  When I did CONFIG on the Primary, get the same error msg.  When I open the app on each computer, they are completely different interfaces.  So I re-installed the app on my Primary and it won't accept the passcode you sent me.  I'm lost.  Please help.  TIA.

I have installed MP on both computers.  I set up the new computer as Secondary.  Attached is pix MPS1 from secondary.

I open MP on primary computer - attached are 4 pix

MP1 trying to config the secondary named Trader.  Highlight Trader, click on Config.  Next MP2 pops up.  I click OK.  MP3 pops up.  Trying to find secondary.  Then the error msg of MP4.

Ok, you are using a REALLY old version of Multiplicity (like 2.5 versions ago).  It would behove you to get the most recent:

https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/

If you wanted to use the trial 1st, you can get it here:

https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/update

So uninstall what you have on each PC and install that.

Please explain.  Do I...

1. Purchase a new version?  How much?

2. Upgrade old version for free?

3. Keep using old version?  Or does old version no longer work?

The version I have now worked fine until I purchased the new computer.  What do i need to do to make it work?  When I went to the website, it seems I did not qualify for an upgrade to a new version.
