Start11 - Limits on how many pinned and recent programs can be shown in Modern Style?

I've used the Start* programs since Start8 all the way through to Start11 and, by-and-large, they've been more than worth the money I've paid for my licenses; however, one change with Start11 has, so far, really irked me. With Start8 and Start10, I could change an option to be able to have (at least) 10-12 pinned programs in the Modern start menu while still having 4-5 recent programs listed below them, but, with Start11, there is currently no similar option. On a fresh Windows 11 install, Start11 will only let me have ten total programs listed in the Modern start menu, split between pinned and recent; once you pin five programs, each additional program you pin "steals" a slot from the recent programs list. I can adjust the text size, but, still, ten total pinned/recent programs is all you get:

However, on my media server which was upgraded from Win10 to Win11 and Start10 upgraded to Start11, the ten pinned/recent programs limit apparently isn't there, because it shows the same pinned programs I had in Start10, but also still shows four recents:

I'm afraid to change anything with the pinned programs on my media server now, lest I lose those "slots". I understand this is still early days for Start11, but, still, I'm not exactly pleased.

Edit: I tried to add another pinned program to the Start11 start menu on my media server, and, sure enough, I lost a recent programs "slot" (showing three instead of four, like before).

The same options are provided in Start11.  Press the cog to configure the menu from the config screen.  Then you go to left hand side shortcuts, click to expand it and increase the number of shortcuts visible.

I can't believe I completely missed that; I opened those options multiple times and apparently just glazed right over it...
