Can't activate 2nd license key for Start11

I just purchased the upgrade to Start11, this did install and is working correctly on the PC that was running an activated Start10 install.  I then purchased a second license and was sent a second product key, which I intended to install on a second PC.  (Is this not what users are supposed to do to get a second license for an additional computer?)  This license will not activate.  I have tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. 

I get an error about connecting to the activation server, although I have internet, and am posting from the same machine that will not activate.

I got the second license to activate using alternative activation via the web, but it is very strange that of 2 computers on the same network, one could activate an install, while a second could not.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure how you activate it. But, you need to check if both keys is under the same email address. You can do so by checking here : https://forums.stardock.com/484254/getting-your-products-and-keys
