Can not restore snapshoot

 I have (x2) Fences licenses (and one Start8).

Rev 2.13 / win 10

Suddenly after forced restart I can not get back saved snapshoots.

Tried removing and reinstalling and this did not helped.

Tried to do automatic layout, and this arrangement stay, but not any other change I try to save.

 

The error I get is

problem restoring snapshot

No value exist with that name.

 

Please help!

 

What is the cost of new latest revision?

Can we uprev/upgrade ?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please check if your old layout still there in this directory as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots. If it does. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [Link], Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Some more info,

I cannot recall saved snapshot, but now the latest is restored after logoff or restart, does this change your advice above?

If it working properly now. You do not need to do the purge and reinstall.

I still can not recall any snapshot, but now I get the latest layout after restart.

How can I recognize by name the snapshot in the directory? the names are encrypted some how.

No, I mean does the old layout snapshot appear inside your fences "Layout & Snapping" inside that layout snapshots box? Something like my screenshot above. And if it does, can you click on it and restore from there?

Yes but then I get the error message below
