Problems with unreadable text in new windows 11 file explorer

Hello, since i installed windows 11, i have had trouble with groupy in the file explorer, file explorer now uses the mica effect for the explorer title bar and background, but groupy seems to think the titlebar is using my accent colour (which is dark blue) which is making the text and buttons white.

heres a video https://gfycat.com/unkemptethicalemperorshrimp

note the inactive tab text, add tab button and the 3 dot button. when i choose navy blue, its white when the window is active making it extremely hard to read.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Thank you,

I'm having the same issue. When settings are set to "Combine if Possible". Also the Navigation Bar turns Black.  "Always Place Above" seems to working fine.

Same here on Win11.  And if the windows is active, the left tab overwrites the rounding.   The text color on inactive tabs are white and unreadable.

Inactive windows looks better.

Single tab with no painted tab, also unreadable.

1 Simply offset the left tab a few pixels to then right to fix the rounding.

2 Why is the no accent color on active window, active tab?

3 How do I get correct text color?

OK, that shows that Groupy  assumes that the titlebar use accent colours when it in fact does not, when this setting is on.   And render white text.

This is a logic error.

I'm tankful to you for showing what they do wrong, but this is no solution, just a workaround.

Since this is a setting I really want on, Groupy must wait until Stardock solves the issue.

End of tom449's quote

The issue is explorer titlebars have always followed the OS titlebar colour until Win11.

Groupy 1.x is designed for Windows 10 where this remains the case.
