This is the text of the email I sent to [email protected] a short while ago. The quick response pointed me to this forum.
I've been trying to purchase Start11 from your website for most of a week, but no matter how I try it, the attempt ends with the following message:
"We regret that your order could not be accepted. We value your business and would like to help you complete this order. Please contact us for assistance."
I've tried different browsers (Firefox, Edge, and Chrome), different payment methods (credit card, PayPal, and Amazon Pay), and different PCs running different Windows versions (10 and 11).
Two other attempts to reach Stardock via support links on your website have gone unanswered. The last one—yesterday morning—promised a confirmation email which I never received. (I diligently scrutinize my junk folder; it's not there, either.)
Though it's been a while, I have purchased from Stardock before. My account is still there (I logged in to it to make sure), but attempting to purchase Start11 while logged in failed as well.
Had I seen this thread earlier, I wouldn't have wasted so much time in my attempts. It's now been close to a week since you sent the problem "to Stardock Support Team for their assistance." An update on their progress would be appreciated. Also, please consider a warning on the Start11 download page that Stardock is having problems processing payments so that others may spared the frustration we've been through.
