Feature Improvement + Bug Report

windows10 style is powerful

But the initials search page is a bit impractical

Can do it like Windows10's start?

And when I use the initials search,I want to return the APP's list,I just need to press the "Esc"

But in start11,when I pressed "Esc",Start is close and when I open the start menu again,it still show the initials search, not the list of APP

Here is Windows10's start

Not only that it have some bug when the APP's name is Chinese or other language

When the APP's name is Chinese, the initials do not follow the order of Chinese pinyin, but directly use the first word of the software name, which will lead to a longer search time.

Just like it

Thanks for the report.  Escape should indeed to back to the main page vs closing the menu and we will look to fix that in the release.

With regards to the chinese, as a non speaker myself, what order would you expect those to be in?

Also do they all appear under the globe in the original Win10 letter search screen? (as I would imagine each character would be too many)

Thanks!

If the APP's name is Chinese, maybe it can translate to chinese alphabet

Such as the app called "百度" ,and it translate to chinese alphabet is "baidu"

There are some API about translate Chinese word to alphabet

API for transliterating a traditional character (writing the pinyin)? - Chinese Language Stack Exchange

In Windows10 's start, if app's name is Chinese, the alphabet of the first word of each software name will be used as an index

such as the app which is called "百度", and it chinese alphabet is "baidu", and this app will be categorized as software starting with "B"
