Fences dumped most of my icons

Now my desktop is a mess!

About every 4-6 weeks Fences will dump most of my icons back to my desktop...73 this time (see link). Dragging them back to the correct Fence is a royal pain. Is there a fix, or even a file that I can back up?

I'm using Windows 10 Pro build 19043.1237 on a Dell Inspiron 5570 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U.

What version of Fences , open Fences app and click on About for the version#
