Fences 2.13 stays in Medium Icons

Hello,

 

I have Fences 2.13 because if I upgrade to 3, the system crashes. This is ok, 2.13 is good enough for me.

The challenge I have with 2.13 is that I would like my Folder Fences to show in List (View setting type) and  it does not matter how many times I swith from Medium Icons (default setting) to List, that wehnever I go Sleep or Reboot, the default view remains.

I could not find any setting that changes the default view.

Is there any trick out there to have the List view stay for all my folder fences?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is known that your issue will resolve, if you upgrade to Fences V3. Any idea why your system crash with Fences V3? Also need to know what Windows version are you on? You can use Winver.exe to get full Windows version numbers.

Is your corporate system also install something like Forcepoint or Websense? This two application has compatibility issue with Fences.

Hello,

I did some search and could not find any of those two softwares in my laptop. Maybe uses a diferent (new) one creating some compatibikity issue because I have had Fences for many years and never had problems.

About your Fences3 question, I opened another forum message about it some weeks ago. It helped at first but eventually the issue came back again, so I stayed in Fences 2.

Hello,

I am afraid that we cannot assist with Fences 2 as it has not been sold or supported for nearly a decade.

If you have issues with Fences 3, please ask your IT people if indeed they employ Websense \ Forecepoint.
