stardock crashes windows

black screen of death

The latest update to Stardock 10 intereferes with explorer.exe, resulting in a black screen of death. Please inform me when a new update is availabe or confirm that Stardock 11 does not interfere with explorer.exe

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Stardock does not have a product name Stardock. Is it ObjectDock? or something else. Please specify correctly.

From the version numbers (10/11 & 9.5.3.0), it is pretty obvious that it's Start 10/11.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Start11 is Windows 11 compatible. And I believe, if I understand correctly, I read somewhere in here that there will be more layout features vs Start10. Not sure if the new features compatible with Windows 10.
