TickTick program won't stay grouped

It used to but the program has had a UI update and it hasn't worked properly since.

You can group it but as soon as you try to maximize the window it ungroups itself, I assume because of whatever wrapper they use for the UI update?  I just refused to update so I could keep it grouped but I eventually had to as it wasn't working properly for me anymore.  Last working version of TickTick that I know grouped properly was 3.7.3.7

Was wondering if this could be looked into please...thank you

(As soon as I maximize the window to keep this on my third monitor TickTick ungroups itself)

It seems their update makes it hide and then show its own window on maximize.

You can see this if you watch the taskbar as you maximize the window as you will see one taskbar button slide out as another one slides in.

Unfortunately hiding a window is deemed to have left a group because some apps like TickTick itself also hide themselves when you click close.

Having looked into it we can stop it leaving the group but it will forget its location on screen when restored if it is the active window, but thats probably as good as it is going to get.

I keep all my grouped windows maximized always so this isn't really a problem for me, a minor inconvenience at best, assuming I'm understanding this right.  I can't speak for everyone of course, that said it's a very niche issue and I'm the only one who's brought it up after months.

I appreciate you looking into this, thank you.
