trouble after latest update

I recently received a notice that a new update for Fences was available so I installed the update. Now when I save a document to my desk top it does not appear on the desk top. When I look for it through file manager, it is listed in my desk top documents but does not show on my desk top view.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just as a test. Try disable Fences and see if the icons appear on your desktops.
