Does Start11 Also Provide Access To Windows 11 Start Menu?

Hi.

I've been looking at Start11.
It looks good, but I would also like to be able to use the Windows 11 Start Menu. Maybe a shortcut to it.
Have access to both start menus. Have the best of both worlds.

Does Start11 provide this?

Hello,
Yes you have that options, there are few option in Start11 to open up Windows 11 Menu. For example you can set your "Win" keyboard key to open Windows 11 Start Menu. You can also Ctrl-click on Start button to open Windows 11 Start Menu.

OK. Thanks.

By the way. In the fullscreen settings, not all keyboards have a right Windows key.

You should at least have left Windows key, yes? You can get to Windows Menu from Start11 Start Panel.

It looks very good.

What does "Modern Theme Without Icon" do? I can't notice any difference.

Can we have a setting to remove the delay in the start menu.
I like it popping up instantly.

Yes, I have a left Windows key, but Start11 doesn't provide that option. Only a right Windows key.

If you on Windows 11 and have press left Windows key what do you get? Start11 Start panel turn up, yes? If yes, do you have that Windows menu icon on it. Click on it and you should get the Windows Menu.

Yes, its take one more mouse click. That what you have to when you do not have right windows key while on full screen mode.

Thank you very much, Basj.
This program has great potential, but the delay effect is annoying.

By delay do you mean the animation in?

I guess you might call it that.
The Windows 11 start menu pops up immediately.

And a side effect of the delay is that when I click on the Start11 menu and start typing to search, it always omits the first character.
So, for example. If I am looking for Paint, when I type paint, I always get aint. If you pause for a second or two and type slowly, it doesn't happen.

But it only seems to happen with this setting. 👇

The Windows 11 menu by default also animates in.  Have you adjusted settings on your computer to turn off animations?

Yes, I probably changed the Performance settings when I was using Windows 10.
But I cannot see any start menu settings in there.
But either way, could we have a setting to turn off the animation? It's very clunky. Not smooth.

Were you able to reproduce the search problem where the first character is truncated?
