Windowblinds 10.89 and Windows 11

I know it's not yet supported, but wanted to list the things I'm seeing for devs to know about.

I just wanted to point out a few things I'm seeing with WB 10.89 on Windows 11, newest build as of 12 August. I know it's not supported yet, but just wanted to list what I am seeing so devs know, just in case I've tried smething that hasn't yet been seen.

1.  Many dialogs are blanked out, right below the title bar, inside the dialog. Depending on the skim loaded this might be blank white space or it might be transparent. The space is approximately the same height as the title bar.

2.  I had to exclude Explorer.exe in settings and not skin it to make Explorer (My Computer) open correctly. It would some times flash several times before opening, and more often flash several times and not open at all. This is very similar to what I see with Start 11 and WB. But only on my primary monitor. The other two do not have this Start 11 issue. All three however do have the general Explorer issue.

I will also post more things to this thread if and/or when I stumble upon them, if it is of any value.

Again not looking for answers, just wanting to help out by listing what I see.

Cheers and good luck with all the compatibility issues a new UI must throw at your!

Personally I would recommend against running WB 10.89 on Windows 11.  Explorer is highly likely to crash out and you will encounter the issue you have with issue 1 too.

Issue 1 is a backwards compatibility break by Microsoft.  We have a bug filed on this from months ago but Microsoft seem to be ignoring it as the feedback system is flawed and developer reported bugs seem to be lost in the noise over bugs with huge numbers of reports.

Disappointed to hear the reaction to your bug filing. But not all that surprised, I guess. Thanks for the information.

I have the same problem. I also have found that the Start button doesn't work with the Taskbar at the top of the display
