Moving SysMetrix Off Screen

I'd like to move SysMetrix so that it's partially off screen. So, say, a couple of components would be hidden and I'd be left with just, say, the clock and the media player. Unfortunately it keeps snapping back on screen of its own accord, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to prevent this. Most of the skins I like are horizontal, but they take up the entire horizontal strip of the screen and I'd like to just, like, you know, move it over.

Is this possible? Am I being obtuse?

in the sysmetrix config box unclick snap to grid (i think thats it) or it could be snap to borders.... then it can be placed anywhere

Gah, I can't find any such thing in the config options. I'm using version 2.0.4 if that matters. Under what heading is the Snap To Whatever options supposed to be? There's something called "Screen edge snap-to distance", but I'm not sure what that is. It asks for a number. I'm baffled.

Oh, and I just realized I posted this on the wrong board. Many apologies. As you might guess from my posts, I'm an idiot.

Preferences....Positioning.....Form is....click 'Movable', not 'Locked'....

Movable just allows it to be moved around the screen, while Locked keeps it in one position. I still can't get it to stay partially off screen with Movable. It just keeps popping back.

Maybe it's a problem with the development build? Dunno. :shrug:

Sorry...yes you're right....it is resolution-aware....knows where the screen edge is.

Perhaps this is something I can suggest to Nick in his on-going development/s....

Aww, I knew it was hopeless! I guess I'll just have to look for a teensier theme in the meantime.

Thanks for your help! At least I can stop trying to move it now.
