Applications are crashing caused by Object Desktop

I have filled in 2 times a refund form from the support page with 2 different email adresses. But the confirmation mails are not received in my mailbox. So they are never send!! Second I tried to send a mail to '[email protected]' and they replied with a automatic generated mail with the comment that there is not made a ticket, and that I need to fill in the refund form. I DID TWICE dammit!!!

 

I want a refund what's the trouble about it?? I hope that this message is read by Stardock and give me a good explenation.

If you did, please post your Support ticket numbers here, so we can forward that numbers to Support for their help. If you did not, please raise it again.

I got a moment ago the confirmation mails in my mailbox so they are send but not immidiately I have already had contact with a support employee for a refund and asked him to refund my payment. I am still waiting for a response and confirmation about the refund I hope that it is not taking long. De technical developers of Object Desktop must really take the whole software under the loop to get the bugs out else it is only frustrating customers. I shall reply to this post if I get the confirmation about the refund, so I can say then that everthing is ok.

The only thing I can say that the respond of the confirmation mails of the refund forms must be much quicker!!

It would be helpful if you were able to let us know what issues you encountered with the software specifically as obviously we would wish to resolve issues in case other customers were to run into them.

I shall put a description here from all the errors to help others but I want first the refund on my bank account, I hope you understand that.

Can some of you from stardock support explain me why Sean Drohan who handles my ticket not respond to my questions about refund?

I want the refund quick and not to wait ages for it. So I can put the reason for the refund in this post.

Maybe some of you can contact support to pickup the ticket please!

I have put a second ticket for refund with a reference to the first ticket in the hope that there is another employee who want to pick up my refund request. That ticket number is SSN-11376 but there is also no single response on it. So I am very disappointed about Stardock and shell need to warn people to not do business with Stardock unfortunately.

Why is it so hard to get a refund???

Basj you call yourself Stardock Community Assistant, my hope is on you maybe you can make those support get to work.

Please help!! :)

Hello,

SSN-11134 was answered, by me, multiple times. You need to ensure you are not blocking emails from @atlassian.net and atlassian.com (that is where the ticket responses would come from).

You would have also been provided a direct link to the ticket after you created it.  I would have allowed you to view my responses to it. 

This is the jist of the problem and was my response:

The other two options would be:

-Resolve whatever issues you are having so you no longer desire a refund.

-You dispute the charge with your bank.

I had hoped that you take those number of days you where talking about to refund my payment. I talked with my bank, I can't dispute the payment with my bank they do nothing for me :( the payment was made by IDEAL and not reversable. So I am still asking you to refund my payment. I have put my bank account and BIC and IBAN in the ticket. So use that to refund me please. My desire is still a refund so I hope that I am clear now.|-)

You did receive my reply but you did not understand it, is that the case?

I have emailed FastSpring, but again, this could take a long time to resolve.

The following problems I had with Object Dekstop:

When I open a program and use a dialog from that program like a dialog to save your work then often the dialog freezes and the buttons like save of close are not responsive anymore. Reason why I lost some good work because I couldn't save it. I needed to ctrl-alt-delete to get to the taskmanager to kill the process from that program. I had that with multiple programs.

When I have the taskbar in the top position instead of the bottom, the upper bar of programs with the minimize-maximize-close button disappears behind the taskbar and I couldn't reach those buttons. I need to manualy position the taskbar back to the bottom to reach those buttons.

The Fenche application was regarly loosing the background behind the icons. The new Fence Beta is bugged too, there I found out that I was renaming an internet link icon, and after reneming all the icons where renamed with the same name.

DeskScapes: animated backgrounds are regarly freezing and I need to restart my computer to see the animatings again so bugged too.

So with al those problems I did not want to use the software anymore and want a refund I hope that I have explained enough to get that.

And I hope that others can do something with my explainations.
