Multiplicity Keeps waking one of my PCs

Multiplicity

Hello,

I'm using Multiplicity to control 3 computers (4 total with primary), and one of the 3 wakes up for no apparent reason when I turn on the primary computer.

Yes I've read the posts, disable the sleep function and the buttons the mod recommended on another thread. It's a little awkward, makes me wonder if this is even secure. Any ideas?

Thank you

By wake do you mean from actual sleep or just from monitor sleep?

Multiplicity does have a wake on lan feature but that has to be enabled by yourself so that shouldn't be the case.  But if you did enable that then you can disable it from the settings on the connection.

If this is a case of waking from monitor sleep then make sure you do not have the option on the primary in settings "Prevent secondary computers auto sleeping when using this computer" turned on as that will wake monitors.

I don't know what other thread you are referring to so I cannot comment on that.

Hello, thank you for the reply. Wake on LAN is not checked as enabled, but it is doing it anyway. That is precisely the problem. It's not sleep, it's waking after I shutdown. In fact if I go press the power button or go to the start menu and shut down from the other PC, it boots right back up.... Does not happen unless I turn the primary PC on.
