KVM blank screen

I use multiplicity and connect to two computers,

In seamless mode I can control the mouse and keyboard fine on both computers, but in KVM mode, I can connect to both computers but one computer shows a blank (black) screen. The other works as normal (I can see the screen, control the mouse)

On the blank screen computer, ctrl alt del works.

All window updates are up to date.

What is going on?
