Hi All,
I tried grouping applications for Mozilla firefox with notepad and saved it as a group and each time I restore the saved group both applications open separately, for some applications it works fine, and for some, it doesn't, maybe someone will be able to help me fix this.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
What version of Windows ( Full version numbers - use winver.exe for that )
What version of Groupy ?

The version of windows is Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
I installed Groupy yesterday so it's the latest version of groupy,
Did you perhaps already have firefox running?
Some applications only ever run a single instance of themselves which can cause problems as the app launched is not the app that needs to be grouped.
