Remove / Hide Universal Applications Folder from All Programs

https://forums.stardock.com/480766/removehide-universal-applications-folder

When checking "Don't Display This Item", under Configure page, this hides Universal Applications on the right hand Start 10 pane, but not  under All Programs.

Other threads seem to suggest it should hide both areas.  I've never found this to the be case, over many years of using Start 8 and Start 10.

Am I missing something, or is this not supported... hiding all instances of Universal Apps from Start 10?

Thanks for the otherwise excellent utility!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

What does the right-click context menu look like for that item?

Hi Sean - Thanks for your reply.

No context menu for Universal Applications, under All Programs.  Other folders and icons show normal context menu, including the various Universal Apps in this folder.

Ahh, was hopeful this might do the trick... no luck.  Full reboot just to make sure.  Thanks - DJ

When you open the Registry, to this location

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

is the entry there?

And is FlushMetro and FlushMetro2 both = 1?

Rename:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

to:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8.OLD

And import this as a test:
