Display takes on colour and background scheme of other monitor

I'm using Multiplicity in non-KVM mode with just two machines and it seems to work well. One small bug I have noticed is that, when both machines are put to sleep and then woken up, one or other may take on the colour and background schemes of its peer. This is Multiplicity version 3.57 build 00103.kvm.

Its not Multiplicity, rather, very likely Windows itself:

Hi sdRohan and Wonejiv27, the theory that it's Windows doing this is a good one. Except that I have synchronization turned off on both machines. I'll keep an eye on this one.

I can promise that Multiplicity has no way what so ever to do this.

It will be something else syncing.
