Hi, I have problem with + (plus) button. In explorer.exe it does not open new window/tab.
However Ctrl + N and Win + E works.
In notepad.exe it works fine.

Win 10 Pro
Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.631)

I did clean install Windows and then clean install Groupy. Changed nothing.
Right after install it does not work.

Unless you are on an Insider version of Windows, and NOTHING else was installed or changed, I cant see how this could be happening.

I would ensure that Windows is fully updated and that you have NO OTHER apps or setting changed.

Windows 10 (OS Build 19041.867)

You know how when you drag a window each to both the left and right side of your screen they lock together, and when you drag where they're connected, you can move both windows at the same time? The problem is if anyone of those windows are 2 windows grouped together using groupy, they can't connect and you can only move them individually. I have a video of this I can share if you want. I'm not sure how to send it on this forum though. Should I just share it through a google drive link or smthn?

A shared link to a cloud service is fine, yes.

Hi,

thanks for the great product. I have several bugs in Windows 10 Pro 20H2 with the current version 1.48 (bought at steam - doesn't make a difference I think?).

  1. Mattermost (a free chat client) sometimes completly gets black when grouped. I can screenshot it next time - it happens regularly. I have to completly close and start Mattermost again. When grouped again, it's working for a while again. Afaik Mattermost is kind of a Chrome container.

  2. When opening the "Write new Email" popup in a grouped Outlook (16.0.13901.20276, 64 Bit), the new window is grouped although I deactivated "Automatically group windows of the same type if they aren't grouped yet" (translated from DE). So it shouldn't be grouped - should it? Or is it grouped because it's parent is grouped?

  3. Worst problem with Chrome (89.0.4389.114, 64 Bit): When pulling a Chrome tab out of the grouped Chrome window, it get's grouped immediately and the whole group moves (although I only wanted to move the pulled Chrome tab). So I have to release the new groupy tab and rearrange the old group. This bothers me most when working.

Best,
Martin

For 1 and 2, if you purge Groupy

...reinstall, not making any settings changes at all, does it still happen?
