Start10 1.96 Beta Issue Report Thread

With the Start10 1.96 beta release today, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining the beta:

Object Desktop members can get the beta from within Object Desktop Manager with 'show beta downloads' enabled:

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page:

Reporting an issue:

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive services (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube) and link included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that Groupy does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Start10 1.96 Changelog

  • Some tweaks to search to ensure the Start10 search isn't run ever if you are using Cortana mode and to ensure the search is terminated if you close the menu.

I just installed the latest Beta Version of Start10 and I am not able to configure it. 

I get the message: "This product is not activated on this computer. Would you like to uninstall this product?"  

 

That's the only option I have, not to license or anything else. 

 

What's going on here? My license is still good for another month. 

Why offer the beta if I'm not able to use it.  

Win 10 Ver 20H2

32 GB Ram

Ryzen 5 2600

Radeon 580  8GB Ram.
