WindowFX blocks ZoneAlarm context menus ?

The ZoneAlarm in the TaskBar become useless (no right click menu).

Does anyone else have the same problem ?

Just add ZoneAlarm to the WindowsFX exclusion list.

Thanks, I am trying it as you say (add ZoneAlarm to the exclusion list). It doesn't seem to improve the situation though.

The moment WindowFx loads (even without any effects configured) the ZoneLabs tray icon looses its functionality. (the application works ok but the tray icon gets broken).

Am I the only one with this problem ?

(Windows2000 SP4 )

Aaaha... never mind the previous post.

IT WORKS NOW

(I had to reboot, but it works now ) !

Awesome.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, a reboot helps it. Once. And then the ZoneAlarm panel will disappear again. And you will have to reboot, And it will disappear. And reboot again...
I don't think this problem was resolve but from the lack of other comments perhapsonly a few of us are running into this?

ZoneAlarm Pro. Using WinFX ...same problem. Exclusion list didn't fix it I'm afraid.

Solution: [albiet temporary] Turn one of them off.

Sorry guys, but it ain't ZoneAlarm I'm shutting down..

It's an issue that needs to be looked at please, Stardock.

Thanks

You're also excluding it in WB...correct?

D'oh!

Thanks Gary ... [yet again]

I had it excluded in WinFX ...didn't exclude in WB.

I thought I'd already done that. Excluding in both and rebooting fixed the issue.

In light of my stupidity, Stardock ~please disregard my above post
