I bought object desktop last year. At no point did I think it was a subscription. It's a piece of software.
I transferred over to a new pc and it's telling me my sub has expired. I get sub software when it's pricey but to pay every year for using OD, no thank you.

You should know that the software should still work on your pc provided you have downloaded and saved the installer prior the Subs expired. That activation keys still valid for the version that you downloaded. If your activation have reach maximum, you should be able to deactivate those old activation and reactivate on your new system using this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct
