Net spending not adding up correctly

Notice that the total income is 0 despite having 47 GDP 5 trade route income and 3 tourism.  Any help would be appreciated, I'm in the center of the galaxy with 8 opponents, only have 1 colony and need any edge I can get :grin:

Increase your tax rate, use the slider at the bottom right.

I appreciate the response but why should taxes matter at all? Tourism and trade should be adding up to 8. And why isn't GDP alone worth something?

Weekly Income is the percentage of taxes collected from all sources of income, in this case GDP, Trade Routes, and Tourism, plus what Commonwealths provide.

0% of anything is still 0.
