Anyone ever seen the movie Misery? You never know what obsessive fans will do.

But I don't think Bear is obsessed. Just Vocal about the work he likes and the Authors who create them. He's always there on the comments. And I don't believe it was Bear's intention to offend either. I can vouch for the fact that when Shmoo took another break, Bear wrote to me as well as RadialFX and Ph00ey. He seemed sincerely concerned. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents coz they are both great people from what I know and I'd hate to see ... well, I hate to see "This" happen.

Bear S (I was tempted to say BS…just teasing!)... I most certainly understand your rant...I've been called out by people quite a few times because I packed my bags and left and I hold no ill will against you for doing that either and I appreciate you caring about me and I apologize if my leaving sometimes upsets people but at one time I got myself so overly involved here that I couldn't even think of doing anything ELSE online...it became an obsession for me...I found myself addicted to an extended ‘pseudo’ family (albeit dysfunctional as is the typical ‘norm’ anyhow). ! And then, on top of it all...when I did care too deeply about being involved here I got reprimanded or cajoled for being overactive in the threads or if I got hurt by people I was told, "Hey, find another hobby then!" and that made me realize I DID have to find another hobby..." Which is why skinning is really the last thing on my mind any more…it was a fun challenge and I enjoyed trying my hardest but I’ve moved on is all. But that didn’t mean I stopped caring about people here…

And, let's be honest...I looked to see what skins you've made Mr. Smith () and none were there (but that doesn’t mean you’re not alive and kicking right)? I am sometimes in a conundrum of sorts...if I leave and don't visit here for a long period I wonder if people will think I don't care when they leave remarks on my works and I’m not around to reply to them...and Bear...you've probably seen all my works...so it's not as if you didn't have the chance to get them all already so whom are you complaining for? People who never knew me and never will, surely won't miss out on something they don't know ever existed. -And if you conjecture that my absence of self and works means I'm somehow gone then I must ask you why you only submit comments on works rather than create works too? Look at me…I’ve done both…as well as a lot of prominent folks here…and we do so to give kudos to good, hard work in the field of computer graphics and such…sometimes I think I’d rather just be on the sidelines and root for my favorites and try to help newbies and up and comers because being in the spotlight is such a pressurized thing.

Do I accept your truce? Of course I do! Some of my best friends were once my bullies…that is how I work…I prefer kindness and empathy and compassion to cruelty and ignorance and jabbing. It does the world good to forgive and let go of hurt.
