Using Start8 with Windows 10, Ver 2004

I upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 without upgrading from Start8 to Start10 or uninstalling Start8. The laptop seems to work just fine and retains Start8 functionality. The Stardock web site states Start8 is not compatible with Windows 10. So am I missing something here? If I decide to upgrade from 8 to 10, is it just a matter of uninstalling 8, then installing 10? Thanks!

There will be a number of things in Start8 which will not be working on Windows 10. For example search for most control panel items.

If you were to upgrade to Start10 I would recommend uninstalling Start8 and rebooting before installing Start10
