Can't install Groupy - "Error occured"

When I try to install Groupy, or Curtains, or DeskScapes, or SoundPackager 10, I get the error message:
Groupy - Error occured

First of all: Thank you very much to the developers for this incredibly insightful and helpful error message.
Second: What can I do to solve this issue?

I've got no error code or anything else to work on.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.
  2. Information on System Hardware, Need to know if you are running on Intel, AMD or ARM(Snapdragon) CPU.

I have Windows 10 Professional
Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.572)

My hardware:
Laptop XMG Pro 17
Intel i7-9750H
NVIDIA RTX 2070 Mobile

I have successfully installed Fences, Multiplicity, Start10, WindowBlinds, CursorFX, IconPackager, SpaceMonger and Tiles, if that plays a role.

I haven't had the time to reply.

I have already downloaded the "Object Desktop" software from that exact URL that you gave me.
But just to be 100% sure, I today uninstalled all my stardock applications, and reinstalled everything, again using the URL that you provided. I get the same exact error.
I can't install any of the following programs:
- Groupy
- Curtains
- DeskScapes
- SoundPackager 10

It is a big disappointment to me, because I can't install 4 of the applications, and the main reason why I bought this software was Groupy, and I can't install that neither. I'm very disappointed.

Please tell your programmers to make more helpful error messages. "Error occured" is about the most useless error message that one can possibly receive. It gives me zero information about what is the problem, and what I can do about it.

Please help.

Update:
I misunderstood your instructions. So, I guess what you wanted me to do is to download each application individually and then install them one by one, not via the Object Desktop Application.

I did that now, and now all the applications work.

Please fix the Object Desktop main application though. It doesn't let me install these apps:
- Groupy
- Curtains
- DeskScapes
- SoundPackager 10

Great, glad you solved it. There were reports on issues with ODM and Support known about it. Sometimes it just the server issue. That is why they suggested to download directly from your account instead. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Yes. But just to let you know:
This issue is still not fixed, and people who download the software for the first time will go through the same frustrating process as me.
