Start button and Tray busted when using WindowsBlinds or Curtains

On two different computers, when I use either WindowBlinds or Curtains in conjunction with Start 10 on windows 10, the start button skinning loses its background as well as the system tray. Is there any kind of fix for this? It works just fine if I quit Start10, so I know its related to that.

Thanks!

Could you post a screenshot showing the issue please.

Both have been tested with Start10 so they should be compatible.

Could you also post the exact version of each product?

It is like this on every theme applied.

Start 10: v1.95

WindowBlinds 10.84 (059 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Curtains: v1.01

Which version of Windows 10?

Thats not normal.  Do you have any other shell extensions installed (parts of Open/Classic shell for example)

Both systems are running Windows 10 2004, and nothing else has been modified or installed aside from the Stardock applications.

Small update however, and I know it was poor troubleshooting on my part, but I did a logout and back in and its skinning properly. It looks like even though neither install prompted a reboot or anything like that, it was needed to free up or unlock whatever wasn't working.

Let me know if there is anything additional you would like on your end for troubleshooting purposes.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not really sure what happened on your system. But I know Windowblinds and Curtains will always ask to resart system once the installation is complete.

BTW, your system is working now, yes?

Yes it is working now, but no, I was not prompted to reboot my machine after installation.

Thanks!
